#15. Ingrid Michaelson - Girls Chase Boys
I think this was my first introduction to Ingrid Michaelson that I was aware of her. I always heard of her, but never listened to her work and figured that this would be a good start. I adore the song and find the production unique for pop music. I figured that placing at 15 would been fitting since it was ATRL that made me listen to this song.
#14. Beyonce - Drunk in Love (Feat. Jay-Z)
This sultry sex anthem is probably the best thing Beyonce has put out since the release of her highly anticipated baby, Blue Ivy. From her drinking to watermelon to grinding on wood she knows how to make the dumbest of lyrics sound strangely poetic. Match it with a ****-like soundtrack at the intro of the song we're set for a magical night of love making.
#13. Azealia Banks - Heavy Metal and Reflective
To be honest I can't even understand what she's saying in 90% of her songs but I just can't help but be addicted to this song like a college grad is addicted to meth. It's catchy, hilarious and just an awesome track to bop too.
#12. Christina Aguilera & A Great Big World - Say Something
This depressing love ballad had people around the world balling their eyes out. Whether it be the emotional vocal delivery, the tear jerking music video or just the fact that Christina Aguilera got her first hit as a lead artist in almost, what feels like, centuries all struck deep emotional nerves for all of us. I like to think that this song is deserving of Song of the Year at the Grammys but the committee is ****ed up as **** so hopefully it'll win Pop Group/Duo performance.
#11. Nicki Minaj - Pills n Potions
At least while listening to this we know she wasn't going for any artistic credibility since she worked with Dr.Luke on this track, but hey who cares after being irrelevant for a while it was important for her to try to get a hit. She can do pop, and she can do rap. Why not just show the world again why you're on top of the industry?

Girls Chase Boys is a cute bop. It has a pretty good message, too. Drunk in Love is the 2nd best rnb jam this year. Say Something is such a great ballad and Legend X showed some restraint here usual belting. Pills N Potions is one of the most decent songs Nicki has released so far.
HMR is just pure noise imo. Couldn't stand that one.
