It was hard for me to pick a #1 this year because while there were SO many different songs that I loved this year, there wasn't really one early on that I knew "OMG this is going to be my favorite single of the year" or that really stuck out to me. But then I thought back to the early months of the year and literally this was the ONLY song I cared about for, hmm, like three months. Like none of the other songs in my Top 10 were out/known by me until the spring/summer, "Drunk In Love" was my **** for forever. AND STILL IS! I think the producer of this is Detail? Idk but he did AMAZING with this, from the "aaaaahhhhhaaaaahhhhaaahhhhooooooooo" in the back ground, to the icy-slick synths and booty dropping drums, I'm so into EVERY aspect of this song's production. Beyoncé is SERVING drunk BITCH realness, slurring her words and then rapping or something at some point, I get my life every time. Surfboardt is of course iconic as well. Jay Z is whatever as usual but he does add a little to the song I think. and the video is so perfect yes, this is definitely the best single of 2014. And I named 'BEYONCÉ' my #1 album of 2013 so that's cute, slaying two years in a row. I hope everyone had an amazing year in 2014, can't wait to see what the rest of 2015 has in store!
