'Scream Queens' recruits Diego Boneta and Glen Powell

Mexico-born actor-singer Diego Boneta (Rock OfAges) has been cast as one of the male leads in Scream Queens, series created by Glee creators Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan. Also cast as a regular in the first installment of the anthology series slated for fall is Glen Powell (The Expendables 3). It revolves around a college campus that is rocked by a series of murders. Details on the characters are sketchy, but Powell is believed to be playing a popular guy who dates the hottest girls on campus, and Boneta is a bookish but handsome guy. He and Powell join an ensemble cast that includes Lea Michele, Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Skyler Samuels, Nick Jonas, Keke Palmer, Joe Manganiello, Ariana Grande and Abigail Breslin. 20th TV is the studio.

This casting reminds me so so much of the Scream series. If I didn't oboe any better, I would think this is the scream TV series.
