Yes, this conversation has been had a thousand times, but like I just said, this issue isn't going to go away and it's something she's going to have to address for her whole career.

First, she is since 15 in the US, to want her to sing in an accent what you want is disgustingly offensive.
Second, we Germans have about 100 regional accents but 99% are singing in our high labguage and even most of our rapper are rapping in our high language, some with a little hint of their hometown accent, like Iggy.
I assume it isn't much different in France.
Let's artists express the way how they want to not how you want it, because you are a nothing, period.
