I agree, Jennifer just has a softness to her while Rebecca is more hardened and def more sex appeal. I still enjoyed Jennifer tho so JLaw stans don't come for me
Rebecca and Jennifer need to joint play Mystique, I don't think Jennifer can capture Mystique's edginess and vice versa.
Plus JLaw's makeup sucks big time, am I the only one who notices that?

critics are praising JLaw perf A LOT (as usual ofc ) saying she owned the Mystique role way more then Rebecca.they could not see anyone else now in the role Jlaw her raven scenes tho >>>>>>>>>>
Just got back from the watching this.. I must say I was a tiny bit disappointed... Im a huge fan of Xmen and i don't know what I was expecting I just know I was expecting a bit more... Maybe more scenes with the Original X men characters. Great story line and Professor X has great great acting.
I really don't get what the hype with Jennifer Lawrence is... Rebecca Romijn plays Mystique soon much better with much more edginess and sex appeal like one user mentioned above.
The movie was okay, good plot and storyline but I'm gonna need the other x-men to get better storylines. The fight scenes were too short and those sentinels were brutal. Colossus got ripped to shreds and Iceman beheaded. I'm glad they reintroduced Jean and Scott back though.
I have high hopes for the Apocalypse saga. What they should do is begin him facing the past x-men and them putting him away and someone reawakening him in the future. That way they can continue using both casts. However they better not skimp on the action. I want Scarlett witch to be fully developed, gambit to be an x-men, Rogue to actually get physical and Jean to be bad ass.
Halle Berry better keep her legs closed so she doesn't get pregnant during filming again.

Not really, unless you're the kind of person who likes to analyze every detail and how they all fit together as a timeline. Overall if you know the characters it should be fine. They do have some exposition explaining stuff that happens so you won't be left wondering what happened.
