Hopefully she shows SOME sort of maturity and depth at some point in the era, she's almost 30 years old yet her whole career has revolved around a teenage dream full of childish antics. Like, I already know she's tailored for radio destined for #1 singles, but does she ever challenge herself and question her position in pop culture? She just struggles to be taken seriously. Like I just expect a another trite video made by the ditzy Katy Perry, why should I ever be perched for something more than that?
