Really?
I think "Trash Me" is edgier than everything on her first album.
But its just a demo so who knows if it will actually be recorded and make the album.

Trash Me is more mature than most of the songs on her first album...like Psychic and Never Underestimate a Girl. A lot of the songs on her first album mention boys and girls instead of men or women. I think she wants to get more mature lyrics, topics, and a more mature sound. Let's Dance was probably the most mature song on her first album lyrics wise.

And hopefully she's able to do a more mature video also. Her first video supposedly had people from Disney at the shoot making sure there were no mature dance moves. The girl was 17 at the time...come on Disney...let her act her age somewhat.

I really think "Trash Me" is a step-up from most of the songs on her debut, its hot and I can see radio spinning it..

Her first album was mostly mid-tempos and ballads with the expection of "Lets Dance", "Never Underestimate A Girl", "Let Go", "Rather Be With You" and "Come Back To Me".

I dont like "Trash Me", it sounds like "V", especially when I imagine Vanessa's voice on it. It doesnt look like Vanessa's single/album are coming soon in 08' because Hollywood Records released their release roster to paid suscribers, and the only HR artists on the list were Miley Cyrus with "See You Again"/"Start All Over" and Hilary Duff with "Reach Out" and her re-release of "Dignity".

A lot of albums are coming out this year from Hollywood Records.

Vanessa Hudgens album is coming out this spring. She is almost done recording. Jesse McCartney's album is coming out in April (according to his myspace or website...can't remember which). Raven's new album is also coming out sometime this year too. There has been a bunch of info released about some of the people/producers she is working with. The reason they are not listed is because their albums don't have a release date yet, therefore they won't have a single/album release date yet.

"See You Again" is a song from Miley that is doing very well on radio (made top 40) with no ads and no video. "Start all Over" is apparently going to be a single because Miley just filmed a video for it. And "Reach Out" looks to be the single off the Dignity re-release. It sounds like current/future songs that Hollywood is going to release in the early part of 2008. January-March probably.

Here is a bigger picture. You can see her Seventeen cover a little better. She looks really pretty on the cover (from what I can see).

And its obviously not on the roster because the name of her first single and album haven't been released yet.
She said herself its coming out in 2008 and many sources are saying the Spring.
Plus there was an article that was talking about how Hollywood Records is gonna release many albums in 2008 in CDVU+ format including Hilary Duff's re-release, Jesse McCartney, & Vanessa so the album IS coming out in 2008.
