I really do think that unless something changes streaming could destroy much about what I love about the music industry. The way I see things going has 2-3 giant labels with only a handful of artists each who all make tons of money while everyone else is left out to dry.

They could honestly all make it with their insane sales. The only problem will be if CMA takes effect early like with ARTPOP. However, seeing how "Applause" and "Dope" did that week, I'm inclined to believe the rumors that CMA affects only HDS and not Hot 100 points. Can anyone confirm?

Correct -- CMA no longer has a bad effect on the Hot 100, only on the HDS chart.

I think 25-30% of them will be from the US. When Roar's views came in, about 10 million (out of the 30 million collected in its first week) of them were from the US, so I think about 2-3 million views will come from the US for Unconditionally.

Predictions are divided this week because Lorde's lead should be really small, I'm estimating 2-1% of lead over The Monster, if The Monster manages to sell or stream more then the #1 is for them, we're gonna have to wait Streaming numbers, that could decide everything.

I predict them ruling the chart for 10 weeks (since the video is still yet to be released).

I seem to recall The Monster's sales being significantly lower the week the album hit.

they were lower because of CMA yes.
1d will be lower because of CMA on the hot digital songs chart
but for the hot 100 i dont think it makes a difference? thats my understanding anyways. but the hot 100 takes into account more than just sales so they will probably all be at 10-5/4
