I think this isn't about what she's done so far, but what she will do. As in Rolling Stone is preparing for her era.
If this is true, I'm assuming we'll be getting the single in the next six weeks or so. I have a feeling that the cover will focus a lot on her "comeback" with ARTPOP after Born This Way and the tour cancelling and whatnot. Pretty smart when you think about it, if Gaga's team used a Rolling Stone cover as partial promo for the era ahead of time.
