He said he's excited for some new artists and especially an established female singer who's song is coming out in 10 days who is making a re-emergence into radio.
I don't think it's a major and if it is, it will be probably Beyonce, Demi or Miley.
He hasn't said major pop girl but we can assume that, otherwise he wouldn't be talking about that.
It should be Beyonce, it's the moment. She is waiting too much. She hasn't topped the charts for a while so the great re-entrance would make sense.
It can't be Gaga since she is injured and she is still working on the album. It can't be RiRi since she is promoting Stay and has many hit singles waiting to be from Unapologetic. It can't be Katy, she is probably waiting until September or October. It can't be Britney yet because she is on top of the charts right now. It can't be Nicki or Ke$ha or Kelly or Christina or Taylor or P!nk or Adele.
A big possibility can be Avril, she already revealed the name of the first single and she needs some hype. She is definitely releasing something catchier this time and it's been years since she has been on the top 10.
Mariah is a big option too, they are working together on AI but I thought she was releasing the song this week. I see this single having some success. Jennifer Lopez would be too early but it can happen. Fergie would make sense, we all know she has been getting ready. Jessie J might be preparing something good this time.
I have a strong feeling it can be Shakira, she hasn't had a hit in the US for years and I'm sure this can be her most successful era in a while if se makes the right promotion.
I hope it's not Demi or Selena, I would be disappointed. If that happens I hope it can be a good single. I am a little bit excited about the new Miley sound, so if that happens I would be ready. Finally, nobody has thought about Hilary, she hasn't been in the spotlight for many years and I have read she has been in the studio.

The key term here is "re-entrance". Beyonce doesn't need a re-entrance to radio. Avril and Miley are the safe bets. Yes Avril released the name of her single but no dates or confirmation about timelines have been posted. So he wouldn't be allowed say.
It is not;
Gaga, Katy or Britney. None of them have even hinted about releasing soon. Beyonce is still recording so why would she randomly release a single plus, she doesn't need a "re-entrance" to radio, she just played the damn super bowl. No one would consider her in need of a "re-entrance" to radio, she is already SLAYING lives.
It is Avril Lavigne or Miley Cyrus. Y'all need to chill! Both are on the verge of releasing and seeing as we know Avril is JUST about to release her single, it IS probably her.
Yeah what is wrong with Beyonce? She is wasting all this promo. Maybe they're trying a new promo technique where she makes the headlines first and then after a while , release the single.
Yeah, It's probably Avril or someone else. Miley is still recording and her team said just a few days ago that they were *aiming for* a March release. So I doubt they would have worked out a release date so quickly...
