Which is why what Beyonce said is not true. I get the point she is trying to make but the majority of artists today still do focus on the album. Its just that albums don't sell as well as they do in the past.

She didn't come across as that at all. She knows she isn't the only person who thinks like that. And why isn't she allowed to judge the quality of albums?  Everyone does it.
She simply made a statement referring to those who constantly throw out singles (and certain types of singles intentionally made to chart) for the sake and are less concerned with the body of an album.
So because she has hit singles, that means she prides herself on her singles and is the same as a singles artist? No.
If the shoe fits, then wear it. And it's obvious who the shoe is fitting with all these fumes.

Bey releases every 2-3 years an album. Rihanna releases yearly.
YET Rihanna outsold Bey. Doesn't that just show that people weren't here for 4 aka here for a new beyonce album after THREE years??
Yes Rihanna has had hit singles, where were Beyoncé's??
They lacked the quality Rihanna put into her singles and the result was that they did not do well.
And here comes Beyonce talking about fast releases. Like stop girl you have a kid to take care of.

Is this a joke? She just headlined the Superbowl, won a Grammy, got the cover of GQ and Vogue, and her last album sold 3 million copies (more than 95% of the industry).

Lies and you know it, if she wasn't relevant 4 wouldn't have sold 3 million and went #1. The press wouldn't have hugely covered Beyonce's pregnancy. And the hype around her new album is HUGE/her new tour is selling out globally. Let's not forget the GQ Cover and the Vogue Cover. Just because she may not be as popular to YOU (and only you) as she was in the past doesn't equate irrelevancy.

Lol she's just mad she hasn't been able to reach the Top 10 of the Hot 100 since 2009, she needs to learn that this is a whole new era in music where artists don't make money by album sales, they do with tour tickets due to popularity thanks to hit singles.
She thinks that being successful by that way is less meritorious or deserving, and that's very wrong, but again, she hasn't had a successful single in 4 years so I kinda understand her anger towards the ones who can do it.
