Being a bad-ass is also apart of how she is marketed, from my perspective. The rebellious persona she's adopted has probably helped to make her more popular on social media as well as selling records. It's a good formula to use and separates her from Beyonce, Gaga, and Katy.
Nothing's wrong with integrating your personal life--maybe I'm just not a fan of it. Honestly, I still don't find a lot of depth to her. She just tells a lot of her private business and that's what people want nowadays--to feel personally connected to a celebrity, even though they are incredibly far removed from us, as they should be. She's sounds like many other women who have been hit by their boyfriend, except happens to be famous. I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.
