I don't know people feel like it HAS to be a remake.... FR/LG and HG/SS only happened because of the outdated original gameplay they had and the rapid change in technology.... R/S/E came out at a digitally appropriate time, where a remake would actually be POINTLESS!

ALSO let us remember the battery in the original cartridges would run out by now, so there HAD to be a remake or else more versions of Red, Blue, Gold Silver, etc would have to be put into rotation again... R/S/E does not have that problem at the moment.

I tried putting all the updated firmware for my R4 only for it to crash and burn. I'll try purchasing this though, I withdrew some of that girl's card.
