I hate putting it in list form. I got a lot of thoughtful things from my family, but it's more about the memories and thought put into it than the actual material item. My BF wrote me a love letter.

even the little one didnt get a thing even though he made presents for his mom. a friend isnt even allowed to come over and play for his amusement. it's been like this every single year. the little one is still happy and doesnt complain once, but she still yells at him. can you believe this? that's just life. we're very immaterialistic

me too. i DGAF about not getting anything as i'm an adult/over 18, so i'd just feel weird about getting so many things. but the little one at home not getting one single thing just kills me.
