Top 10 Throwbacks
This is a newly designed chart I made, after having many upon many songs always appear at the top of my Most-Played despite being able to not chart because of age. I'm working on a formula the coming days, as to how a song will chart here for newer songs. But for right now, obviously a song from 2011 or 2007 would chart here because it is a not a new single. Also if the single reached it's peak in popularity before December 31, 2012 it will chart here. Example, if "Scream & Shout" by Will.i.am and Britney was getting plays for the first time, but was dead/dying by the beginning of 2013 it would appear here. Expect this chart to be filled with mostly one artist, most weeks due to me listening to old albums and stuff.
Top 10 Throwbacks:
#1: Michael Jackson - You Are Not Alone
#2: Mariah Carey - I Only Wanted
#3: Mariah Carey - More Than Just Friends
#4: Rihanna - Red Lipstick
#5: Mariah Carey - Secret Love
#6: Mariah Carey - Subtle Invitation
#7: Mariah Carey - Clown
#8: idk messed up data
#9: Mariah Carey - Bringin' On The Heartbreak
#10: Mike Posner - Please Don't Go
Certified Songs:
We Can't Stop - Platinum (1,200,000)
Keep On Lookin' - Gold (600,000)
Songs are certified based on their Chart Positions to make this realistic like Hot 100. Since I don't actually buy 500,000 and 1,000,000 units songs are get an amount of units for their chart positions. #1 song gets an Automatic 500,000 units (GOLD), #2/3 get 400,00 units, #4/5 get 300,000 units, #6/7 get 200,000 units, and #8/9/10 get 100,000 units. They get more units each week the chart is updated. If a song stays at #1 for 6 weeks and SMASHES it gets 3,000,000 and certified 3X Platinum and that doesn't even count the remaining weeks it drops to lower positions. If a song goes to #5 and gets 300,000 units, the next week it gets #7 and then falls it will have 500,000 total and be certified Gold. Pretty accurate.
