Your wrong. Her CD has gone double platinum in the UK. But that's OK, we're not very fond of a lot of European and Latin American artists.

I loved todays show and Im happy for Hilary to come back on the countdown. I hope Ryan's video premieres tomorrow because its one of the best songs on his new cd. I thought it was hilarious that they said during Shakira's video they said her IQ was 40, which was a mistake, then later came on during Ashlee's video to fix it to 140.

yeah, Jeyson has it wrong. Kelly Clarkson has a great deal more talent than most artists, and dare I say that she is even superior than Shakira? She got her start in the music industry from American Idol, but the rest, more recently with "Breakaway (hence the name)," she has earned it all on her own!

I kind of differ about the Kelly vs. Shakira ordeal that has been brought up in some ways, but yeah, Shakira is all right with me, but she's been one of the only few that have been out and around today from both those countries.

But I do agree, No AI = No Kelly. On the other hand, KC did earn her claim to fame much faster than Shakira, but went through struggles as well.

Plus last I checked Shakira's latest CD debuted at number 5, and has recently dropped around the 20s on the alblum sales charts.

Kelly's Breakaway on the other hand has been in the top 20 ever since its debut a year ago, and has sold an additional 100,000+ copies this past week.

Zithogga, I'm actually happy you aren't a fan of Crossfade and Trapt because your list of favorite songs sucks anyways. Those 2 bands have no songs worse than Bat Country. It's sad to see how the #1 rock songs have gone from Korn, Limp Bizkit, POD etc. to this kinda rock. I'll still always believe TRL is rigged because how would Linkin Park not have made the countdown more when they're one of the most popular bands ever?
