Hmmmm I really don't know about that. California Gurls is not a new classic because its sort of already out the window. People seem to make Firework out to be some sort of big deal so i'll give you that one.

Rihanna,Gaga even Adele cant forge 8 straight hit singles, you are just downplaying her success, in OOTB, i can say that she's lucky, created 3 top 10 hits and a flop, decent album sales and it got her name out there, she just stapled her name in pop culture with TD, everyone knows that. if she's lucky then the singles wouldnt have sold more than 2x plat or even spend multiple weeks at #1. please spare me the delusion

She just prolonged her peak and everyone just kept consuming because shes inoffensive. That's not delusional its actually the opposite.

I'm not saying shes not successful, but we've all just witnessed her peak.

no you just said she's just LUCKY. that TD was a LUCKY STREAK, so you're basically saying that she just got lucky hitting 8 hit singles because that happens everytime

and no, no one can say that TD is her peak, it's just her 2nd album

Saying she "got lucky" does not imply that it happens every time though idk where that came from, it implies the exact opposite. It dosn't happen often and she capitalized off it by releasing her thoughtless factory made music for the public to consume because of course they will consume it.

Trust me, this is her peak. She hadn't and most likely will never match this success again. She got lucky.

Well if it was just a 'lucky streak', then you're saying that in that 23 years since Michael Jackson first held the record up to 2011 when Katy tied it, no one's ever been lucky enough in the music industry with their singles and that they were all flops and undeperformances?

Luck comes in regarding the publics interest in consuming her music. Nothing she makes is remarkable so she got lucky that people took a major interest this time, after the first 3 singles the rest was just blind consumption so to speak.

GGGBR > LOUD > GGGB.

GGGBR sold more had a bigger hits ( Umbrella,Disturbia and Don't Stop The Music) .

Loud had no big hits in US.
