Well it's true. This thread isn't even about Lana. But that line can be interpreted in many ways, metaphorically. They're lyrics. Gaga has had dramatic interviews about her drug use and now just because she overcame, she feels free to joke about it to millions of dependent fans.

The biggest issue here is the hypocrisy. Almost every major popstar has referenced drugs in one way or another, yet other stans are attacking Gaga for this harmless tweet. If you're going to hate, at least make sense.

Britney was high in an episode of that reality show she did with Kevin.
Lana sings about drugs.
Rihanna posts pictures of her doing drugs.
Ke$ha sings and talks about drugs.

The only people who can pass judgement are the Kats.

Rewatch that Oprah interview, is it even on YouTube in full cause Youtube is a hot ass mess when trying to search for things like this now adays.

There is a very specific part where she talks about her creative process and "goes away" to do things that her parents don't agree with. But their philosophy on it is that as long as she stays safe, it is okay because it's not a permanent habit,

Actually, no. That's your assumption. Although it is possible that she was, there's absolutely no way to know. She's always said she stopped doing cocaine. Whether that means she still occasionally uses it - according to her, no. Is it possible? yes.

More likely though, she just smokes weed / maybe some other less-serious drugs. I'm sure she HAS done cocaine a few times since she was 19, but I highly doubt it's on a regular or even semi-frequent basis.
