Talk That Talk is such a fresh album; the production is AMAZING and the beats are infectious and fun. Femme Fatale really surprised me, it's a very distinctive, well done pop album. I held off listening to it for so long and when I finally did, it really took me by surprise. It also got me interested in Britney's other material. 4 is Beyonce's most introspective and personal album. The vocals are semi-operatic and emotive, the production is brimming with quality. It's just an all around solid album, one of the best to come out in years.
As the for Born The Way, I can appreciate Gaga for trying something new and taking some type of risk but I just wasn't impressed. It was really underwhelming for me.
The main competition is between Born This Way and 4... 4 has many songs that I do NOT use while others are magnificent songs... Born This way has the same thing though from the songs that are good, they are not memorable. So Born This Way is the worse, followed by 4... Talk That Talk is the best imo
Femme Fatale. It's generic electrotrash which was enjoyable at first, but got old wayyy too fast for me.Inside Out,Scary,HATLM still get some plays from me on a good day though.I didn't like BTW and 4 that much at first but they turned out be monstrous growers.Talk Thak Talk wasn't any good either, but WHYB was enough to not let me vote for it.
Born this way. It is way too abstract... I don't understand it and when I listen to it I feel like gaga tried too hard to make this record stand out. It also feels pretentious.
But oh well. *listens to The Fame & The Fame Monster*
Hmm. I feel as though most people who enjoyed FF and TTT didn't really care for 4 or BTW. But I guess FF and TTT are more or less similar sounding albums when compared to 4 and BTW.
Born This Way's a horrid mess, basically everything on that album's been done before, and way better by Stefani's idols Madonna, Bruce, Xtina, etc, etc, etc.
Born This Way was the most disappointing album, but that doesn't necessarily make it the worst. Some people will just vote for it because they hate Gaga as a person, anyway. As for me, I'll go with Femme Fatale. It gives me the emptiest feeling out of all these choices.
