Milan's good concert tickets are all sold out so I'm looking at Rome instead. I'm just worried cause it's in July so the whole city is probably overrun with tourists. But for a day or two it should be okay I guess. I might wait until they announce more Rome dates, it's inevitable there will be more.

You could try with Turin, they added a third date there only few days ago, if I'm right, so there should be some good seats

Hmm Milan to Turin is only a little over an hour! Adds a bit to the travel cost, but that's alright. And the date is quite perfect too... this definitely looks promising. And I'm not much of a tourist so this would decrease the time I spend wandering around aimlessly.



Why are "Parterre in Piedi" the cheapest tickets? Isn't that where you want to be? I've never been to a concert of this size.

They just added an April 7th date so the tour is starting a few days early.

Parterre in piedi is the place right in front of the stage, where you stand. I don't know how it is called exactly in english, sorry

Yes, the Data Zero is like the last big rehearsal before the actual tour starts, it won't be exactly like the following dates, but it'll give us some interesting indications like a "draft" of the setlist

I always buy Parterre tickets, cause I think that watch a concert from seats is like watching a DVD
And I always try to get the first row (and I always got it, except from the last two Avril's concert ), so I queue for like 15/20 hours

I don't even want to imagine the disappointment. Flying to Italy for nothing.

My plan right now is:

May 16th fly to Milan in the morning (9:35-11:15 flight), go see Milan, then take the train to Turin in the evening, find my hotel
May 17th go see Turin, then in the evening TIZIANO
May 18th go back to Milan in the morning, perhaps see a bit more of the city and then fly back in the evening (18:50-20:40 flight)

Yes I was just reading on wikitravel.

At night, parts of the Central Station become a sleeping area for vagrants. Usually around the station there are some foreign gypsy children aggressively targeting tourist for pickpocketing, so pay attention to your bag.
