Alexandra's recording history (according to my theories) goes something like this:
** = unreleased/scrapped
<2004 - pre-X Factor
2005 - X Factor first stint (left at Judges Houses)
2005- 2008 - Man For Me demo (?)
Late 2008 - Hallelujah
2009 - Overcome, Overcome (US Edition) **
2010 - Overcome (Deluxe Edition)
Late 2010- Album X**
2011 - Album X version 2**, Show Off (Swizz Beatz featuring Alexandra Burke)**, Shots For The DJ (Pitbull Featuring Alexandra Burke)**
Late 2011 - Heartbreak On Hold
Late 2012 - Christmas Gift
2013 - US debut album**
Late 2013 - Album 3 (pending release)
2014 - The Bodyguard Soundtrack
Album X refers to the scrapped album that was recorded in 2010 - April 2011 when she was still at Syco. Several snippets of songs from this album were heard on her Ustream account, including several with Rico Love and a rumoured Usher duet. Usher was pictured with Alex and Rico at a recording session for Album X. Song titles leaked from Album X include Call Myself A Liar, Drink You Down, Scars and No One Is Perfect. It featured writing from Fraser T. Smith, Stargate, Priscilla Renea, RedOne and Rico Love. Album X was due out sometime in Summer 2011, with the first single slated for release in April 2011.
Album X version 2 refers to the project she was working on in 2011 following her departure from Syco and transfer to RCA. Several features were planned on this project but never materialized. Several songs from Album X v2 made it on to Heartbreak On Hold, including Tonight and From The Start which was renamed as Daylight Robbery. Album X v2 was planned to be released in late 2011 but was later delayed and merged into Heartbreak On Hold which was eventually released in June 2012.
