what exactly are you not understanding? it is a fact that she was not screaming, since, for example, like someone else said, there was vibrato in her vocals. you can't scream like that. It is your opinion that it SOUNDS LIKE screaming. but the fact remains that she was NOT.

Sorry but Britney's version its better. Her voice is just more apropiated for the song, Beyonce can slay when she wants, but this time she lost. Anyway, I can't see the drama
Oh c'mon! Beyonce is one of the Top vocalists of this generation. Her voice is incredible. I'm a fan of her voice and talent; she's a great performer. She did a good version of the song, we all get that. She could've slayed the vocals and everything, but Britney did it better because her voice (YES, SHE WAS SINGING) sounds good with this song, even though the both sang it with emotion, Britney's version sounded real, TECHNICALLY Beyonce slayed the vocals, obviously, but Britney slayed the performance.

i think Bey sung it better and her voice fit the song better than Britneys..voice. tbh i don't think it's the best sound for either one of them though.
bey had more emotion, more energy, good vocals, great voice, more energy and an amazing performance
