And yet, it took a decade for that to happen again. I see.

Female pop stars would be marketed completely differently otherwise. Probably more like Adele, Skylar Grey, Sia, etc.
Even immediately after Britney got popular, Christina got promoted as like a more artistically credible and mature version of Britney, and Avril was getting promoted almost like an "anti-Britney".
If you think back to the early 00's it was quite obviously like that.
I wasn't alive during the time when Madonna was dominating the most, but I suspect it might've been a similar thing back then.

Name someone from Beyoncé's generation who is as equally talented as she is. You can't.
If Britney didn't exist Christina could've easily been in her place.

Alicia Keys, P!nk, Kelly Clarkson, Xtina. They all are 30 years old, with solo albums around the same time. That's like saying Ashanti would have taken Bey's place.

This is such a massive presumption. As if there was never going to be a successful female pop star again?
There's probably a stronger correlative link to be made for Britney owing her chance at a career to the Spice Girls proving female pop could be viable than there is for every current successful female pop artist only being around due to Britney's success ten years after the fact. What a massive leap in logic.

Who said Britney wasn't IMPORTANT?
Being important =/= Having influence and inspiring other artists.
The Beatles, Elvis, MJ, Madonna etc have huge sales and huge influence over artists. Credible and respectable artists at that. Britney only has the huge sales.

2. There are a plethora of things that go along with being a legend. Respect which is probably the most important. Talent which also comes into play. There are a bunch of other things that could be listed all of which tie into and help establish IMPACT and dominance. Regardless, sales are way at the bottom of the list.

Are you comparing LMFAO's impact to the incomparable domination that Britney did? OMG. And let's not even go with the fact that Britney's career has passed for more than a decade. Tell me how many times we will multiply LMFAOs career achievements (let's also add Chris Brown for that matter) to get to the point of Britney's relevancy?

You don't understand. Pink & Kelly aren't even remotely similar to Beyoncé as artists. Christina & Britney are very similar which I why I said she could easily take her place if Britney never existed.
As for Alicia she is not as equally talented as Beyoncé. She isn't much of a performer.

Gorl. Please stop. Argue your delusion all you'd like but we will NOT act like Ke$ha, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato are in any way comparable to or anywhere near as respected as people like Diana Ross, Bono and Stevie Wonder.

Lana del Ray, Marina and the Diamonds, Little Boots, I find them all credible and respected. They all cited Britney as influences. I said earlier Bey was NOT influenced by her probably, but you cant just say Brit got lucky, and Xtina would be where she is now. There's a reason Britney is still around, after 13 years. That's like saying Ashanti or Ciara would be in Bey's place had she not blown up.
I didnt knew Diana was inspired by Bey

Except they aren't. The funny thing is most of Britney's influence over other artists only applies to image. They tried to recreate her image. Outside of Heidi Montag I can't even think of anyone that has ever been influenced by Britney musically. Vocally isn't up for discussion.
This is why I'm not understanding why y'all are always putting her on the same level of MJ, Madonna, etc etc.

Christina debuted her first song first before Britney did so it won't really matter who was first and if Britney didn't exist, then what more if Christina didn't exist?
