That Madonna's status remains untouched goes without saying.
It's really boring why are we making a stan war? We all love music ! And they are our faves ! And I think that it's stupid that RS is making a topic like that :S I hate Beyonce but I think I'm stupid too.
And that is something their fans should be proud of, instead of being pissy that someone who rose to prominence within the trackings years came on top.

We all know Madonna will forever be the Queen of Pop, but Rolling Stone made it explicit this is the CURRENT Queen of Pop (from 2009-now) and clearly Gaga absolutely dominated.
I do think the ratings were a little inflated as far as Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood are concerned. They dominate female country in every way, but RS shouldn't have really counted Country Radio spins or awards like the Country Music Awards in the rankings (the other stars don't even have a chance?). I demote Swift down to number 4.

this is just based on the last 3 years....it's just a temporal title based on numbers!!! they will change in a few months!!! they will change the list every year...so chill out haters..they didn't say Queen of the whole history of pop!
