Intelligence is a way of thinking, the creativity you posses and your ability to pick up on ideas and express opinions (in my opinion) and you can barely tell any of this from what someone posts online. I agree insofar as there are people who don't excel at written/verbal communication who can still possess intelligence (and there are different types of intelligence), but someone who routinely makes articulate posts with cogent arguments is unlikely to be stupid in real life.
And correcting your posts a thousand times before submitting them wouldn't signify a lack of intelligence.
