Did I ever say they are all pure R&B songs? No. I said they have the makings of what R&B is and they have reached the top of THEIR charts. And I am not here for airplay on some pop station or for any crossover bull. If their are elements of R&B, then it's there and R&B still remains relevant to the public. End of story.

Your point was DUMB. "Rolling in the Deep" and "Grenade" are NOT R&B songs... PERIOD! They haven't gotten much of any airplay on Urban radio. They were mainly POP hits.

You said that you don't care about pop spins, then why even jump into the argument? This was a debate about Ciara getting crossover hits, and I said that R&B is not popular in the mainstream and iTunes and Billboard show that. Those songs were not good examples AT ALL. If you can name me at least 20 R&B songs that have made a huge splash within the past year without some pop appeal, then I'll surrender. Until then, shut the hell up.

I want her to dwell into dance techno-pop for myself, to see how she handles it. But not Katy Perry & Ke$ha-beats. I need her to work with Afrojack & Skrillex, the people who make the hardest beats. I can only imagine her dancing to them on stage. Plus, she could get hits out of them. Killing two birds with one stone.

But that's only a couple songs. I want majority R&B & Hip-Hops. Speechless's to the next level, & predominatly hip-hop tracks where she raps the verses & only sings the chorus.

I basically want...
-heavy dance
-midtempo R&B cuts (Speechless & Promise with a twist)
-hip-hop

& that could make a great record. She needs to experiment, which was a flaw on Basic Instinct, lack of experimentation. She needs to feature more rappers, & less "pop singers". I sort of hope the J.T. collabo doesn't make the 5th album.

It doesn't matter what your perception of R&B is. Fact is, those songs barely got any R&B airplay and were huge hits on Pop radio. It's long because the Ciara stans couldn't take one post of mines. I'm just sayin'. 99k should be what she scanned in the first two days of release, not total sales. She wouldn't be in this predicament if she had some crossover smashes and stop releasing songs that would have been hits when I was in high school. That was all I was sayin, tho.
