1. Runaway – Kanye West



Oh Kanye. Kanye is such an amazing artist, songs and videos. And this is a great example of the musical genuis; Kanye West. The video is supposed to be a music video for the song "Runaway" of the best crticially acclaimed album of 2010; "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy", but it's way more than that. During the video we get to hear 9 songs of the album, which is a great launch and mix. The video is 34:32 minutes long, the longest video to be released this year, and the longest in years. The views are breath-taking and shot very beautifully. The lightning is very natural, which makes even better. The video follows the story of a fallen phoenix who encounters a Griffin (Kanye) on planet Earth. The woman who portrays the pheonix is very beautiful, attractive and looks angelic. The video follows their evolving relationship which ends up being a love story of the two, and the journey of the phoenix exploring Earth. The effects in the video are magnificent, especially the fire effects. The "Runaway" video itself is very simple, yet beautiful and creative. The twist in the video is that the phoenix wants to go back to her own world. The video ends with with a very important social message, when the phoenix and the griffin start discussing how sculptures were made, when the phoenix say they are phoenixes turned into stone. She says; "Do you know what I hate most about your world? Anything that is different you try to change.". She says she needs to burn, so she can turn back to her own world, which is a metaphor, to be true and honest to yourself in order to live your world, and not let it be ripped apart by people.
"Runaway" is an amazing piece of art, a masterpiece. Which is why it's my best video of 2010.

40. Kelly Rowland


2010 hasn't been a good year for Kelly, and I don't like her that much, but Commander is a good song. I played it a lot and it's a great party-dance song. "When Love Takes Over" is still her best song ever, though.

39. Mike Posner


"Cooler Than Me" & "Please Don't Go". Although I hated CTM at first, I ended up loving it.

38. Edward Maya / Vika Jagulina


Their hit "Stereo Love" haunted me everywhere this year. Everywhere. But it's an amazing song so I can't complain.

37. Britney Spears


Britney didn't release anything new in 2010, but I still blasted "3" & "Toxic", and more. Gotta love the Legendary Miss Britney Spears. Look but don't touch!

36. David Guetta


His produced songs are really popular, from I Gotta Feeling, to Sexy Bitch and Club Can't Handle Me and Gettin' Over You. Although his getting repetitive, he still gets me jumping on the dancefloor each time.

I really got into them this year, with their hits "Starstruckk" and "My First Kiss". Their album was disappointing but I still gave it a try, it's not that bad.

I like La Roux style. Their music is good, especially "Bulletproof" and "In For The Kill". In For The Kill is an amazing track, I wish it had the success of Bulletproof in the US.

Ellie is beautiful, and her voice is beautiful too. Her songs are calm. I love "Starry Eyed", but I started liking her much more after the magnificent "Wonderman" by Tinie Tempah.

I like Pixie's songs, she seems like a sweet girl. Her songs are fun and yet serious, such as "Gravity". I was hyped for her re-release which sadly didn't turn out as good as I thought it would. "Coming Home" is still my jam.
