Honestly I was expecting so much more. It's all a bit bland. I do still love Mercy though.

He's cute and has a good voice but This album is really mediocre. There's nothing special about any of the songs except maybe Honest.

Ignoring the first 5 tracks, I like No Promises, Lights On, and Patience best so far.

Bad Reputation is just OK but I loooove how he sings the Ruin refrain during the last chorus

No Promises, Lights Out, Honest, Patience are all good. Need to listen to them more to decide how I really feel about them.


The monologue in Understand.
It makes follow-up Hold On a bit more poignant, though.

I love his voice on Ruin. The first three songs are easily the best on the album. I'm quite impressed.

Overall, I think the album is a bit drab for a what 18 year old boy to be singing. Like, the music just comes off as old, I guess. There's nothing particularly fun and fulfilling about this album. It's very beige. After Treat You Better and Mercy, I was expecting a bit more.
