I wish we had precise sales for her first two records. It`s so hard to dig any receipts up from the first 2 years of her career.

I don't care for her, but WOW. When you have an amazing voice (or when the public thinks you do; her screaming annoys me) you become a license to sell albums.

I know. I'm not sure about her total record sales though. I'm thinking it's pretty close to 300 mil...with worldwide monsters like "Hung Up" and "Vogue."

Let's get some Shania up in this thread.
Shania Twain (1993) - 1 million US
The Woman in Me (1995) - 12 million US
Come on Over (1997) - 20 million US, 40 million worldwide
Up! (2002) - 6 million US, 20 million worldwide
Greatest Hits (2004) - 4 million US
Sales worldwide are not available for her first two albums and her GH.
43 million in the US alone with 5 releases.
60 million known sales worldwide.

She`s at LEAST around 250-260 million, but anywhere near 300 million is obviously much more likely. That`s absolutely mental.

She said off the top of her head so obviously she is not spot on. But only MOTS and GGGB of the sales she named were way off. MOTS is around 1.8 million and GGGB is much closer to 9 million than the 8 she named, but AGLM is actually at 3.3 and Rated R and Loud were just about right in her post.

You Can Dance WOULD be the best selling remix album of all time if it weren't for "Blood On the Dance Floor."

Nielsen actually tracks many stats in numerous countries, but they withhold a lot of their info, or it is used for private companies who pay for tracking and databases, etc.
