Two other questions remain: who was the dragoon Noctis was fighting against in that trailer from a few years ago (the 2012 trailer)? And who is this woman that is in the 2013 trailer? Hm.

dddddd at this point all I can hope for is that one of the main characters is transgendered and was born a woman or that one of the characters is part of the sistren.

You guys have to consider there is much we don't know yet. They said last year there would be playable females.
The story has gone unchanged so far so Stella could be playable at the very least she will be a boss.

Due to how the characters are placed I am betting the dark haired girl is with Stella.
The two opposing sides will come to a head.

The hairstyles in the game is things friends who have gone to japan said they have seen.

I feel like they made the hairstyles more natural compared to when they were first announced. Watching that trailer, it had some of the most realistic hair physics I have ever seen. Love the cast so far.

Nomura and Tabata were co-directing XV for at least the past year when they announced this game for the PS4. Nomura has since been taken off of XV's directorial duties and has been sent to work on Kingdom Hearts III full time. This basically means horrible things regarding Nomura but at the end of the day, suggests we will get KH3 and XV in a timely manner.

Nomura is no longer the director of XV and has been passed on to Tabata.
Nomura is now focusing on Kingom Hearts 3.
This is good news because unlike Nomura, Tabta said it is easier working with next gen for him than PS3/360.

The game is far along since a demo is coming out and KH3 wont take as long.

edit I honestly feel if Nomura was still director we would not get a demo.

Does it really mean horrible things for Normua? I'll read up on it, but it seems to me like they might just want these games finally done. Kingdom Hearts on Console was a smash. The handheld ports were smashes. We finally need an end to this saga and more consistent releases there after.

I'm glad progress is being made though and I pray Normua is still on good terms with Square Enix, because I Stan since "The Bouncer".

Precisely why he was removed as director. The man is a perfectionist and I honestly feel he was holding things up.

Now that Tabata has taken control we got a trailer of entirely new footage and a demo coming out in March. Tabta is also well versed in developing for next gen consoles.

I can see them having a talk with Nomura.

I feel for him. He just wants to make it perfect for the gamer. He said in an interview once that he is still deciding on the vision of what he wants KH3 to look like. He wants a perfect balance of cartoony and realistic. I'm like "I just want the game out". But he is really one of their best, but he has to know that people are not going to wait, Square sending him over to KH3 full time should be that sign.

At the end of the day, Nomura is ambitious but hardly involved. He's just a creative face that really doesn't do the heavy work that a director normally does. His only directed titles have been Kingdom Hearts games.

Square finally learned its lesson and is letting the ambitious and quick-working newcomers finish up everything and get it all done after years of waiting. Hopefully, KH3 will live up to Nomura's expectations.

He needed to set realistic expectations for himself and for what he could put in the game.

I know it was his baby when it was known as Versus XIII and he co wrote the story.
But I think he might need to retire once Kingdom Hearts 3 is finished.

He could also take a backseat and not be director anymore and focus on character designs.

I think him working on an establish franchise which is known for consistent releases was a bit too much for him. I mean FF XV and his idea for it will be coming to fruition and he should atleast get credit for bringing the idea to the table. He should really be that guy that introduces new IPs for them or gives advice to the FF team. And keep his focus on the KH franchise.

With XV's demo coming out in March, it will most likely be released within a four to twelve month timeframe. That could be winter 2015 or early 2016. Depending on how fast Nomura moves this along, he could very well get the game done before 2016 is over.

I just can't let him go . I feel like he has so much more to offer. I love his stories though. A writing role would be great for him. The web he created for KH series is amazing.
