I'm sick of her at this point.
The album better serve a Janet tea. 24 tracks with interludes seguing the songs. It'll be 9 songs tho.

Look I'm not here to hate, I love Rihanna. Yes, we've waited months for albums before but it was part of a well organized plan and we knew where those promo were going. Things seem to pop up from nowhere now for her and the whole release plan for these singles just doesn't seem to make sense. The songs are not that good in my opinion and this constant rumor-denial-rumor-denial-song-rumor-remix thing is driving everyone crazy. It's just not working and it's tiring people, even fans like me. Having said this, I'm here for #R8 and I hope it's going to be the best and best-selling album of the year

Idk, I mean it seems disjointed but I don't think its tiring per say.
And the only song I think is lame is FourFiveSeconds which unfortunately was the lead single. When you start off with a lead single like that that isn't very strong it kind of puts a damper on things. And BBHMM was definitely not going to impact radio anymore than Pour It Up did so it wasn't a good recovery single. As for American Oxygen I mean its alright, I don't know why it didn't do better but at the same time I kind of don't really care about it.

This should be great. OIFAN is a great song, and I can't wait to see the result of Rih's reworking. Plus, we rarely see Rih use these long samples so it should be interesting.
Oh, and Misanthrope, calm down with this elitist "my taste/ opinion is the truth" stance. Just because someone has Kesha in their sig doesn't make their taste "bad". Like, ew, cringe. If you didn't want to hear opinions from people with differing taste it was a tad bit silly to join a public POP music forum.
The thing is that people are used to Rihanna cycles being annual every year. This era has broken that, hence why people are freaking out. Humans are creatures of habit.

The "Froot" of the month released by Marina are NOT official singles. Only one song has officially been called "first single" and pushed for radio, which is "I'm A Ruin".

Britney Jean had two singles and 0 promo performances.
Rihanna will sell much better. She's already done the Grammys, March Madness, iHeart Radio Music Awards and Jimmy Kimmel, with an SNL performance tomorrow and she's about to release her fourth single of the era.
