Girls' Generation "Hoot'"
These girls are pure energy, definitely my favorite Kpop artist of this year. This song came out a little late to rank higher but it was my favorite by them, the chorus is very catchy and they look so cute in those outfits, the Bond inspired video is kinda funny aswell.
Eminem "Not Afraid'"
The King of Rap finally got back this year. After the letdown of his last album he's ready to say it all out loud and with this song he started with the right word. Anyway it got old a little fast to me and it wasn't enough to break into my top 100. The video is pretty good though.
John Mayer feat. Taylor Swift "Half Of My Heart'"
I know you might think I only like this song cause of Taylor Swift, but that is so wrong cause she's nowhere to be found in the video and her vocals in the song are nearly there. Anyway the song is kinda good and the lyrics and pretty deep, Mr. Mayer never disappoints.
Westlife "Safe'"
I like how it's slowly becoming a tradition to get a brand new ballad from Westlife to go with the Holiday time every year. They once were my favorite boy band, and now that they're no longer in the spotlight they stay loyal to their fans and to their old style that's always been their signature.
Taio Cruz feat. Ludacris "Break Your Heart"
Ok, this is another guilty pleasure. I really never liked this guy and I still hate him, but this song isn't bad despite the fact it was heavily overplayed and overrated. I listened to it at a party and it grew on me like crazy. So that's why it gets this place.
Backstreet Boys "Bigger'"
This was like the 10th time these veteran guys have attempted to comeback, and I don't really mind as long as their music is good. This song was one of my favorite songs at the beginning of this year, it's so cute and the lyrics are very nice. The video is kinda stupid but I like it cause I've always looked up to the eastern culture.
Alexandra Burke "The Silence'"
Finally Alexandra heard all my curses and prayers and decided to release a power ballad. This isn't exactly her greatest potential song, but it's indeed another showoff of her amazing vocal range. I need more from where this one came out of girl!
The Script "For The First Time'"
Aw I loved it when I heard The Script was gonna release a brand new album this year. The song was really cute but it fell so short compared to any of their previous efforts. Anyway it was enough to make it this far.
Scouting For Girls "Famous'"
The second appearance by this british band, and it's not their last believe it or not. This song was so funny it got me jamming it for a while, the music video and the lyrics depict the reality of the decadence of the TV Shows as the main source of entertainment for the new generations.
Shakira "Gypsy"
After 4 years this is the first song by Shakira that I didn't hate at first listen, let alone, the first one that I liked and actually added to my playlists. For a second I thought I heard a little bit of the old Shakira hidden away very deep inside this song. I thought she was finally gonna change and then she released that crap Waka Waka and Loca which was even worse
Thank You For The Comments! Tomorrow I'll announce part of my top 20 of Albums!
