I just got out of seeing this in 2D. ... probably should've gone with 3D, not sure if I want to see it again. It's a good movie, just not as astonishing as the praise it's getting. (but then again I didn't view it as it was intended but honestly 3D doesn't do anything for me so *shrug* )Visually it's excellent and Sandra Bullock probably should've won an Oscar for this instead of BS.
She can win an Oscar for this as well. They aren't something you can only win once...
true but it'd be nuts if she won again this soon. she gave a really terrific performance though, she's definitely one of the frontrunners.
No, it actually wouldn't be nuts at all. Tom Hanks won the Oscar for Best Actor twice in a row. He won for Philadelphia, and the next year won for Forrest Gump. If the performance is good enough, they will give it to her.
Just came home from the screening. What a masterpiece. I cried so hard near the end and my heart was beating like crazy. People were screaming stuff like "Keep your **** together Sandra, you can do It!". So intense, everyone sat on the edge of their seats waiting for whats coming next.

Just got out of the IMAX 3D screening. I was so astonished at how great the visuals and sound were. I definitely need to go digest what I just saw (+ go watch it a few more times).
