I don't think they are BUT my dad tried to drag me with some ignorant **** a few days ago he said "why can't you be normal like every other teenager, why do you always have to be worried about "dresses, make up & high heels" I don't think they really understand what being a homosexual is, I'm sure they think I'm transgender even tho I'm not.
And all I said "I was bullied 8 years during school and you're doing the same" and they started crying so...
My dad is very. My mom doesn't approve of gays except fo Ellen Degeneres.

My mom has no problem with it, she supports it and everything, my dad well he doesn't live with us since years ago but judging by some of his acts, I think he's not homophobic but a lil' ignorant regards the matter.
My dad isn't, my mom isn't neither but i know she would freak out if i came out for like a week then she'd get over it. Ill never come out to them tho, as far as i know my brother didnt come out for being straight, no one has got **** to do with my sexuality
Thanks for sharing that with us. I was in the same boat as you in 2011. It was a struggle to even say I was gay out loud for a good 4 months. It gets easier, and eventually you'll get used to it and have enough courage to come out to your parents. Before telling them, however, you should start with some close friends since they'll be the most supportive. Go from there and see what happens whenever you decide to tell more people about it. Lol I know just saying it to my self is already... =_= but I think I would tell my mom first Not sure how my friends would react and I always wondered what they would say lolololololol.
My dad is very homophobic. He made a comment once about how gays should be thrown into a huge pit and set on fire.
My mom really could care less. When I told her about that Chick Fil A drama that was happening a few months ago she was like "Ugh. Why is it anyone else's business who these people choose to love?"
I'm bisexual but I'd never come out to my parents. I've been with a guy for the past few years anyway so I don't see the point right now.
My mom is she was talking to her friend once and she said "I'd kill him if he was gay!" this is why I can't come out.
Damn :O...... I feel sorry for you guys with these angry parents. At least I know my mom doesn't care at all. I think my dad doesn't care either since he likes Adam Lambert XD And he jokes with my mom sometimes about guys xD.......... So but DX......... nugudgs idk :P.
It's really sad to see all the gay people in here with homophobic parents. I feel like a lot of my cousins that live in Minnesota are but not the family I regularly see.
