I mean, it's not like Gangnam Style where Psy played up Asian stereotypes like a damn minstrel show.

So since the Mulan thread has been inactive, I was thinking: hey, Phillipa Soo could be great as Mulan. She's at least in her 20s instead of her 30s, she's at least half-Chinese, and she's clearly demonstrated her talent in Hamilton. "Burn" is amazing.

I just listed places that Ive either been

Seoul/Busan, South Korea (literally so fun. Probably my go to place in asia other than Vietnam. Hongdae has the best nightclubs and attractions, there's also a gay district called homo hill whch has tons of gay clubs and restaurants, Busan has the best seafood and beaches; also there's a water amusement park in Yeosu which is next door to Busan)[i'll be in Seoul from middle of September until January and im so excited to go back]

Osaka/Uji, Japan (Osaka has the best food in Japan, Uji is ****ing gorgeous with tons of rivers, and castles) [nobody spoke english but did their best to communicate with us when we were speaking broken japanese]

Taipei/Kaioshung, Taiwan (food was awesome, people were friendly, watch out because i almost got run over by a moped like 40 times) [my gay friends took me to a gay sauna and... i have sinned ]

Ho Chi Minh City/Hanoi*, Vietnam (People were really nice, and vietnam has the cutest guys out of all the countries in asia. I got to try bugs for the first time, crickets actually taste good )[ho chi minh city can get crowded at times, I also went to Hanoi which wasnt as crowded but maybe thats because my friends knew what streets to take] [surprising in both cities, there were a lot of people who were able to hold a conversation in english even though my and my friends were trying to speak vietnamese with them]

Singapore (the people were friendly, I got tricked into eating durian , im going back again this September to visit my korean friend)[people speak english, i think tis one of the national languages]
