I rated the songs on a scale between 1-10. 1 being of lowest quality and 10 being of highest quality. I even gave some songs a half point extra (7.5 for example). Is that fine? If not, I'll just convert them to whatever grading scale there is and send it to you.

Yep. That's EXACTLY how you do it. And half scores are fine!
