Fearless was a successful album last year and even placed as the runner-up in the my list. This year, Taylor Swift unleash her follow-up Speak Now and just like her previous album, it was well received by fans and even selling more than 1 million copies on the U.S. alone. Speak Now is somewhat a similar collection of what her music she had released, it talks about love, romance, and heartbreak. The first single Mine did well in the charts and has become of the hits for this year. Album highlights would have to be my favorite songs like Haunted, Innocent and Back To December. To be honest, Fearless is way better than Speak Now but overall it has some potential hit singles waiting in the wings. I will just have to wait what will Taylor Swift do in the coming months especially with this album.

11. Bruno Mars - Doo-Wops & Hooligans
After being featured in two hit singles by B.o.B and Travie McCoy, Bruno Mars is off to his own with his debut album Doo-Wops & Holigans. Bruno definitely made a breakthrough in the music scene this year thanks to his style of music and he showed it through his songs for this album. If you could see the common theme for this album, it is probably dedicated to the feelings of a women but guys can also relate from this. Just The Way You Are which is certified a smash fit is the finest example and girls would really love this song hoping to hear that with their significant other. Unrequited love is being expressed and Grenade which is another great track in the album. Bruno Mars shows his Jason Mraz' style by singing an ode to friendship through Count On Me while he expresses what people can probably relate through The Lazy Song which when I heard for the first time really makes you do nothing and chillax. Bruno ends the 10 track album with the collaboration with Cee-Lo and B.o.B wiith The Other Side. Bruno Mars definitely has some talent when it comes to expressing feelings in a song and this is shown with his singable hits this year. I'll definitely look forward to him whether he is a featured artist or singing his own material.
