Long Live brings tears to my eyes for some reason.

There is something about Taylor it's like...when she succeeds so do we...I know that sounds weird but it's just the way I feel. When she wins awards I always get all tearful for her.

I can't believe the were together at one point.

John Mayer is like my role model (in music anyways, not his awful personal life) and Taylor Swift is my other role model in music. Y'all probably don't know what I'm talkin about lool.

Mayer is a phenomenal musician, the problem is that he knows it, he is the Kanye of soft rock.
Half of My Heart is an amazing song too, musically they compliment eachother beautifully, but even in the set up of that song his ego was very apparent.

Yeah, I still adore him to death though. Taylor too. When I heard their song together I had an eargasm. Never thought for one minute something between them though.

Battle Studies was easily one of the best albums of the year, that type of music just isn't everyones cup of tea, I love him. Surprising that such a sensitive songwriter would be such a knobhead.

I thought the little shine between them was quite obvious. I know she is a huggy person, but the way they looked at eachother.

By the time she is 26 she will have had her fairytale wedding and some munchkins running around. I'm sure she will find a way to continue her amazing songwriting but she won't be singing about teenage issues anymore.

I don't understand when people say she can't sing live. I saw her in concert over the summer and she was amazing.

It''s easy for people sitting behind a computer to forget how difficult singing in front of 1000s of people is. It's one thing at her own concerts where she knows people go to support her and a completely different to sing in front of your peers and people who you know do not like you or think you deserve your success. I'd say a tiny minority of the people who judge have ever sang on stage, nerves have a HUGE effect, the girl is only 20 and hasn't been doing this for all that long.

She is first and foremost a songwriter and that is what is most important. I'd much rather have a nice voice and amazing songs from the heart than an amazing voice and generic, boring songs handed to them by an exec.

Agreed. And it's gives me hope to see she her on the top of the charts, among all that dance music and autotune. It may just be her "teen fans" buying it, but people are still buying it.

I find it very odd being a straight male and loving her music. Most of her songs can really be taken with both sides, so it's pretty good. I love that. She's actually been very inspirational to me in her songwriting, since I am a songwriter - or well aspiring. Her lyrics are so honest and just.
