Wait so what's like a good college gpa. Obviously the school matters but like in general, assuming one goes to a pretty good school.

Also, good luck to anyone hearing back soon! I only applied to one school and luckily got in, but I remember it's very draining to wait on decisions!!

It kind of depends on your major and intended industry or professional/graduate field study.

All varies on majors / program and field of study etc. My school says anything between a 3.0 and 3.5 is a decent GPA.


I only had to wait like 2 days for my application status when I applied last year.

I'm a Freshman in college at the moment and my current school is kicking my ass

My major is computer science and I'm holding there this semester, hopefully making all As except for Calculus I, which should be a B.

My next semester schedule is gonna be a bitch though, I have to get Intro to Physics, Calc 2 and Intro to Computer Programming.

Girls, if you never touched books in high school, DO NOT DARE TO DO THE SAME IN COLLEGE. You will fall so behind and IT WILL HURT ...

Thank GOD for the drunk weekends with friends otherwise I would have fallen in depression

Oh okay, that's good! I'm aiming to be in my school's honor society, which is doable, but it'll take at least a couple more semesters of solid effort.
And that's crazy that you only had to wait two days! I had to wait about two or three months, and they were a hell of a wait!!


What are y'all gurlz majors? I'm doing Econ & European studies with a minor in Business Journalism!
The European studies is a new thing at my school. I'll essentially only be taking a couple of Poli classes, and a few French classes for it. Also hopefully I'll be able to write an honors thesis for Econ. I have the GPA for it now, but I still have a few more Econ classes to take.

International Politics and Economics and a French minor. Basically the perfect mix of Poly sci and Econ with an international focus. The major also requires that I'm proficient in a language and German will probably be that language. BUT this will only be my major if I like my Econ class next semester. If not then I will just be a Political Science major and a French & German double minor. I plan to go to law school afterwards. Speaking of...I need to contact my pre-law advisor.

I can't take any honors because of the amount of credits I transferred in (31) going to waste in that case under my school's policies. I'll be in the very first generation of Data Analytics majors at Drake University.
