Hilary's numbers are good. Hope she surpasses the expectations a bit, like Marina, because, c'mon, nobody expected her to go #1 and still up there so far.

"no promo" "no promo" being mentioned as the CAUSE or her album floping when it's actually the CONSEQUENCE. RCA won't put her money on a project that clearly won't be profitable.
If her album can remain at #1 on iTunes for this long without pre-orders as well as end up selling over 30k, why wouldn't RCA give her promo? Doesn't the woman in your avi receive promo despite clearly not being profitable considering her entire tour was cancelled?

I can't @ her selling 30K after an 8-year hiatus, three flop singles, barely any promotion & a messy release. The fact she can sell 30K off her name with promotion that's started the week of the release of the album speaks volumes on her star power.
May I ask how Hilary hasn't received promo? RCA gave her THREE opportunities to do something on the charts and she failed them each and every time. She's not going to receive massive sized promo until she proves it's worth it to the label. Maybe the more than expected album sales will do the trick.
With that said, these are actually decent numbers for Hilary/Adam I must say.

2 of those songs were released over 8 months ago. One of them wasn't even sent to radio. Both came out within a week. Back when they came out she didn't even have an album title or release date.
Sparks is the only official single from the album. The others aren't even on the album, and there's no proof they were ever meant to be? (I don't think anyways, I could be wrong)
