How are you all going to bitch about Gaga sounding different from The Fame, but now that your fave isn't winning she suddenly "always sounded the same?"
Britney over Rihanna? Her first 3 albums had the exact same sound... Especially the first 2.
In The Zone is flawless... So is Blackout... Both were new sounds for Britney... Back to Circus.. Not at all. Femme Fatale... Hardly at all.
Rihanna on the other hand, changes her sound CONSTANTLY. She may not have done every genre under the sun, but she is incredibly versatile and has pulled off the most genres the best. So there.
Beyonce also experments, but I wouldnt say to the extent that Rihanna has... 4 is a masterpiece, but her other 3 albums didnt stray too far from her R&B/Pop roots.
Britney has never been anything more than a puppet. She's the furthest from experimental, if she's done different genres that's because those who make the decisions wanted to adapt her to what they can sell.
Anyway, Beyonce, clearly.
Gurl bye. Beyoncé doesn't do anything by herself and her music always sounds the same.
Britney was very involved with In the Zone and Blackout and these are her most experimental albums.
Mmm Papi, Unusual You, Lace and Leather, Rock Boy, How I Roll, Trip To Your Heart, He About To Lose Me, Don't Keep Me Waiting.
Right.
Also rihanna's first two albums like Britney's sounded very similar as well. GGGB was a new territory for her, as was Rated R, but TTT and Loud have practically the same sound so she's not much different than britney.
You girls always do the most when it comes to Britney, she clearly is the most experimental out of those girls, not only with the different styles of music, but she has the most versatile voice out of all of them, not saying she's the best singer, so relax with the lipsynching comments I can forsee coming, but there's no denying the versatility in her vocals. She's also pushed the boundries way more than the other girls. #Trendsetter.
Honestly, that's just the tip of the iceburg...and that doesn't include songs in her discography that mesh genres like "Before the Goodbye," "Toxic," "Rock Boy," "Rock Me In," and "Early Mornin'" -- nor that does that include any of the ballads.
