I really doubt that Beyoncé, worth nearly $500 million, who already has a sold out tour, just launched a 50/50 owned brand with Top Shop, who is readying 3 new artists under her label, and who is rumoured to be soon releasing an album movie is worried about whether it was a terrible move to not release in February.
I get what you're saying. The impact and event that was the release of BEYONCE was very long-term and the album still feels so fresh even though it was almost 2 and a half years ago [I know]. The wait isn't as long and full of agony bc this time we actually know what she's doing. That's fine. but Trent is acting like nobody cares about her album or will care as if major publications like CNN and casual fans aren't questioning about her and Frank Ocean's album 24/7. He's a troll and he does this type of thing every single day multiple times. he feeds off of it
Personally I’m glad she’s waited. New Beyoncé music in the winter wouldn’t feel right. ST was during the Christmas period so it felt warm regardless, but Feb/March are the worst months of the year (in the Northern hemisphere at least)
When the album is out and the world is raving, he better not post in the thread or utter a word about a song on it or watch any video... since as he feels this way. Will he be able to do it, guys?
Hype is not good anyways. It exacerbates an album's momentum and makes it feel like a let down when it finally comes out. It's better to be unforseen than hyped to the maxinum.
Y'all will all be in line when the album drops, so just cut it. I can see if she actually said anything or had a party for the cover reveal, or a huge campaign with a major endorsement... But nope! She's rehearsing for her tour for more than a week and perfecting her art.
