Religion? - A book written hundreds of years ago, which also states black people are bad and a man built an ark big enough to support two of every kind of animal, says its bad, so it shouldn't be legal? What kind of logic is that?!
Health Issues? - Really, straight couples are just as likely to get STDs. Diseases aren't homophobic. (If only people were the same way.)
Children and the Family? - Modern Family is really showing that gay parents really can take care of a child. The family is going to be just fine. Besides, we wouldn't have to worry about it if there weren't homophobic people in the first place.
Education? (Should it be taught in Public Schools?) - Huh? I don't think my school had ever said anything about any weddings at all.

Although in my opinion gay couples should be allowed to marry, there are issues there that a TV show is not going to bring up. We discussed this in my Religious Education class, which has turned into ethical debates, and while the couple may be more than capable parents the child could literally go through hell with their peers, as sad as it is intolerance and homophobia are very much alive and kicking, more in some areas than others, and all it takes is one ringleader to have a child be bullied for that reason.
It is a delicate situation and the happiness of the child, in my opinion, should always be put first.
