I have nothing against Muslims myself, one of my best friends is from Saudi Arabia, and she was the first person I came out to. She was super supportive and helped me accept myself.
But it is the barbaric ideology taught and enforced by the Islamic religion that I find problematic. Of course, not every Muslim is homophobic, but until a new prophet comes along and amends the Qur'an to advocate peace and tolerance, I cannot and will not respect the religion.
Inshallah.

It took you 6 lines to say you're Islamophobic.
How ignorant of you to openly disrespect one of the largest religions in the world when you are not personally associated with it? Islam is
the most controversial religion in the world; its peacefulness has been tarnished by radicals whom are condemned and ridiculed by
all Muslims themselves. I know that your perception of Islam is based on the media and - you guessed it - racism, whereby a homophobic brown man is worse than actual
white, Christian hate groups. In fact,
white people are the biggest terror threat in the US - their ideals are based on Christianity.
The Qur'an, just like the Bible, is misinterpreted.
