This is my favorite Susan Boyle song. Most of you probably don't care enough to listen to it, but what can be done. It was composed by the talented former members of ABBA and it's definitely worth a listen. The London Orchestra sounds awesome in her new album <3
Birdy "People Help The People"
I'm glad to know that we're still getting music from talented british artists. I ****ing hate the UK charts right now with all those talentless arrogant Djs reaching number one... Anyway Birdy's voice is so soothing and the lyrics of this song are so touching.
Dido feat. A.R Rahman "If I Rise"
Have you fallen asleep with all my choices so far? Cause here comes more sleep powder. I'm not a big fan of Dido but I do respect her work. This song is so peaceful, it's magical. After a while it gets boring but that doesn't mean it's bad.
Parachute "Something To Believe In"
Second Parachute song in this countdown. When I first heard this song it fell totally flat. Eventually I forgot about it until I randomly found it on Youtube. I was surprised with how good it was. Sometimes you just gotta give a second chance to anything.
The Ready Set "More Than Alive"
This is one of those songs that I couldn't explain why I like. I mean it's not that catchy, not that funny, it doesn't really have good lyrics or a good video, and I'm not really a big fan of the artist. But somehow I still like it, I guess it's just too simple to be explained.
Lady Antebellum "We Owned The Night"
Damn VEVO, I mean, I could see this video like a month after its premiere just because I couldnt catch it when it first leaked. Anyway I find it very cute, Lady Antebellum has never let fame get inside their heads and I'm fascinated about that.
All Time Low "Time Bomb"
When I see songs that just premiered so high in this cd it really makes me think of how crappy this year became. But it's not like Time Bomb is a bad song, I actually think it's one of ATL best singles. Such a great decision to release it and finally I didn't get a live video.
Ed Sheeran "The A-Team"
Definitely this is my favorite new artist of the year. Exactly what I was looking for: a talented vocalist with zero interest about looks or charts with his feet firm on the ground and making meaningful songs. This would be higher but that would be so biased because it didnt chat in my cd.
The CAB "Bad"
This songs reminds me a lot of Hey There Delilah. I dont know why though. So simple, so... black and white but yet so powerful. I don't really like the video btw, I find it so random and unoriginal.
