Win big is a stretch, since the main categories are so limited now. Though I won't be surprised if MTV brings back Best Collaboration to give to "Telephone" to make her wins bigger.

Yeah I don't see the point in denying that Lady Gaga will probably win big this year. "Bad Romance" is a VERY strong candidate for VOTY (it has the mix of popularity and decent technical prowess that got "Lady Marmalade" VOTY in 2001 over "Weapon of Choice," which was a better video but not as popular). On the other hand, "Telephone" and even "Alejandro," although overrated and over-hyped, are also strong contenders for the professional/technical awards: Cinematography, editing, art direction, special effects, and direction were all strong points in her videos last year, so she'll most likely get nominations in these categories and probably pick up a few of them.

Like it's been said "Hard" wasn't the hit of the era, so MTV will more than likely give it to "Rude Boy", though they might surprise.

Christina might get a pity nom like "3" has a chance of getting.
