As my new years resolution of sorts I've been trying to listen to at least 1 new album or artist who I'd never thought about listening to before a week and already this year I've discovered 1 new musician to stan for and 3 fantastic albums by other artists. It's a pretty fun experience, even if you don't quite enjoy the music one week!
I've not listened to Sophie's music in depth before (She's pencilled in to be next weeks discovery) but from what I've heard of it this album is fairly different from what she usually does, so even if you didn't like her past stuff give this a chance.

Give 'Trip The Light Fantastic' a listen, it's her best album imo.
But every Sophie album is pop perfection, I'm guessing that her second album will be the hardest one to get into as a whole.
This one however is a big change for her if you know her as a pop artist.
But like that one review said, the eastern european type songs REALLY sell this album.
It's what I love so much about this, it literally sounds like a movie soundtrack to some old eastern european movie.
