It really does sound like an UV song, the more I think about it. Not a bad thing. I'm so curious to see what direction she took. I also think we'll have either HM or MYWBT within a few weeks. I just wish she'd do some upbeat songs, like, I totally get the people coming in here saying "same old thing AGAIN." She changed up the sound with UV, but lyricslly and thematically it's the same old topic. Just s thought. Even songs more upbeat like BJ, OFTR, DMD, NA, Cola, G&M, Etc. they're not exactly fast paced or anything, but there's liveliness to them that I love. Hope for some of that uptempo on HM

How do people hear UV? The ****. Lord I simply can't not understand AT ALL. UV was rocky, not cinematic and the vocals were filtered to sound like an old recording.

All I hear is Paradise.

This new song is literally a film score. The vocals are crystal clear. And this is totally different thematically too. This is a happy song about her Honeymoon.

Lana doesn't do happy very much at all.

This is NO "same old thing" the same old thing for me is the video clip. The actual music is not the same "old thing".

It does not sound like BTD and it doesn't sound like UV either. This sounds really new and phresh for her.
And yes, it does sound different than her previous stuff. Point me to one song that sounds like this one in her discography.

And people like that one Lorde stan who complain that it sounds like she is doing the same stuff over and over needs to call me up when Lorde releases an album which is not the same sound and same pace throughout the whole record, sowwy.
