#04. LeToya - Not Anymore
Album: Lady Love
Hot 100 Chart Position: N/A (#7 On Bubbling Under Charts...
)
Problem?
Didn't think so.
Released as the first single off of "Lady Love", "Not Anymore" was probably only a hit....on my countdown. Yes, it was THE wrong lead single, but you have to appreciate what you HAVE, not complain about what you don't have. Be grateful, you hoes! Ne-Yo & Bei-Maejor laced LeToya with a nice mid-tempo that:
A.) She could perform live. (I mean, her early "Torn" performances were the PITS)
B.) Was easy to remember. Even morons could remember the refrain;
"No no no no, not anymore", , right
Reeces people?
All in all, while you all were complaining about Trey and Jordin being too high, THIS is where you guys should start throwing shade. I won't care though.
#03. Kid Cudi - Day n' Nite
Album: Man on the Moon: The End of Day
Hot 100 Chart Position: #3
I'm sure a few of you saw Cudi coming in at #01 for 2009. I mean, I can be predictable, but NOT that predictable! "Day N' Nite" was the single that put Cudi on the charts! Cudi also gave Cleveland (Shaker Heights technically, but **** THAT) some shine for a minute too, so I'm definitely glad that Day n' Nite took off the way it did. IT also was serviced with one of the best videos of the year, and Cudi's so cool--how can you not like him!?!?!?
How can you not like him, Bart?
Anyways, we're at the Top 2. Hope you guys are ready.I am.
