Disturbed have a new album coming out on the 24th so I wouldn't count on Eminem returning to #1. They debuted at #1 and sold over 250,000 copies first week with each of their last three albums.
Has their single had the same success as the last three? Or do they just have that fanbase?
The single is #1 on Active Rock just like "Inside the Fire" and "Stricken". Their numbers might be a little lower than usual, but I think they'll be a threat to Eminem. Also, my mistake, their album comes out on the 31st.
Recovery is a bad example: it had a soft second week drop compared to most new releases today. The typical second week decline is now like 60-70%, I think.
That's actually mostly for rap and other urban albums. So Eminem actually bucked that trend.
